Soft Spongy Unniappam

Ingredients
 
Unniyappam 
Raw rice 3 cups
Bananas 260 grams 
Traditionally in Kerala they use palayankodi bananas
But we have used the regular ones
Bananas 250 grams when chopped 
Coconut pieces -1/4 cup or as desired
Ghee or oil to deep fry plus ghee three tbsp 
Cardamom powder-1tsp 
Jaggery- 3 cups which came to 500 grams 
Salt-1/4 tsp 
Water -3/4 cup for dissolving jaggery and very little (about 1/4 cup) for grinding the rice
