Tomato Pickle - Thakkali Thokku - Thakkali Chutney

Ingredients:

250 grams tomatoes finely chopped 
4 nos red chillies 
Salt to taste
2 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dhal 
100 ml sesame oil

Instruction

Step 1: Add finely chopped tomatoes, 4 red chillies and some salt to taste to a mixie jar 
Step 2: Make it in to a fine paste, you may add a little water if needed 
Step 3: To a heated pan add 100 ml sesame oil 
Step 4: Once the oil has heated enough add 2 tsp mustard and 1 tsp urad dhal 
Step 5: Now add the tomato paste and bring it to boil
Step 6: Add some salt to taste
Step 7: Boil it till it gets to right consistency and turn off the stove 

If you do not want the pickle to be more spicy you can reduce the number of chillies. 

Store it in a air tight container if you want to keep it for long.
