Rava/Sooji Upma Recipe - Rava Upma with Tomato - Healthy Breakfast Recipe - Tiffin Recipe for Kids

Ingredients

Semolina / Rava: 1/2 cup

Finely chopped tomato: 3/4 cup

Finely chopped onion: 1

Green chili: 1

Water: 1 cup

Red chilli powder: 1/2 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon

To Temper

Oil: 2 tablespoons

Urad dal: 1 teaspoon

Curry leaves: 1 sprig

Channa dal: 2 teaspoons

Mustard: 1/2 teaspoon

Method of preparation

First, heat oil in a pan, add the tempering ingredients and allow it to temper.

Now add finely chopped onion and let it cook until the onion turns golden brown.

Add tomatoes, salt and cook it until mushy, then add red chilli powder, green chilli and water to it.

Now add Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup to the mixture and cook it for a few seconds. Then add rava, mix it well and add water to it.

Allow it to cook for 5-7 minutes or until the rava is cooked. Stir in between and pack it into the tiffin.
