Gulab Jamun with milk powder (मावे के जैसे मिल्क पाउडर के गुलाब जामुन बनायें आसानी से)

 

Ingredients are as follows..

Milk powder ( semi-skimmed highly recommended ) :

1 cup ( 250 ml cup) Milk:

half cup Butter:

1/4th cup (60 ml cup)Maida or all purpose flour:

5-6 spoon (7.5 ml)

For syrup White sugar:

2 cups (250 ml cup size)

Water: 1 cup

Small 1/4th tea spoon cardamom powder

I grind seeds with two tablespoons of sugar

First, boil milk and butter together then mix milk powder and stir it thoroughly. When all milk is dried keep it for cooling. After cooling it mix 5 spoons (not heaped on leveled) into the khoa. Knead properly and if it is dry you can mix few spoons of milk.. make a soft dough. If there is cracks in the dough please add a teaspoon of milk and make it soft dough.. For sugar syrup: Add sugar and water in a pan and bring to boil in another 10 minutes you can see the consistency of the syrup. this is not very thick or thin.. almost 1/2 thread consistency. Frying make the little ball from the dough and fry in hot oil in medium flame. then dip them in sugar syrup... Enjoy them for 5 hours... I will suggest you to bring them to boil before serving so they will become softer.....
