Cheese Burst Pizza | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

 

CHEESE BURST PIZZA - (Serves - 4)

Ingredients

Cheese spread as required

100 grams mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes

Pizza dough as required

Olive oil for greasing

Refined flour for dusting

Pizza sauce for spreading

6-8 button mushrooms,

sliced 1 medium onion,sliced and layers separated

½ medium green capsicum, sliced

6-8 black olives, pitted and sliced

5-6 fresh basil leaves

Salt to taste

Method

1. Grease a baking tray with some olive oil

. 2. Dust the worktop with some flour, place the dough and knead well.

3. Divide the dough into a small and large portion and shape them into balls.

4. Dust the worktop with some flour, place small ball and roll out to make thin discs. Transfer on a non-stick tawa

5. Preheat oven to 180º C.

6. Dust worktop with some flour, place large ball and roll out to make large thin discs. Transfer on the greased baking tray, cover with damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 10 minutes.

7. Roast the small disc on the non-stick tawa from both sides till light golden.

8. Fill a piping bag with cheese spread, pipe out on roasted discs and place the discs, cheese side down, on the proven large disc.

9. Pipe out some cheese spread on the edges of small disc and fold in the edges to seal.

10. Spread some pizza sauce on top and put some mozzarella cubes, mushrooms, onion, capsicum, black olives, torn basil leaves on top.

11. Sprinkle some salt and put some mozzarella cubes on top.

12. Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.

13. Cut into wedges and serve hot.
