Chocolate Pizza with Sweet Dough Crust

 Sweet Pizza Dough Recipe:

1/4 cup warm water

2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 standard package)

1/2 cup milk, room temperature

1 large egg, room temperature (let sit out for 30 minutes)

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon salt

2 1/2 cups flour

3/4 cup unsalted butter (1 1/2 stocks),cold and cubed

1 large egg

2 tablespoons milk In a bowl,

sprinkle yeast on top of warm water and let sit for 3-4 minutes.

Add the egg, milk, and sugar.

Whisk together until well blended.

In a food processor, add the flour and salt, and just process until mix together.

Add in half the butter and process until combined, then repeat with the other half of the butter.

Add in the yeast mixture and process until the dough becomes a ball.

Remove dough from food processor and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 4 hours to overnight.

On a lightly floured surface, roll dough out for a 12 inch round pizza pan.

Whisk together 1 large egg and 2 tablespoons milk, and brush onto the surface on the dough. Let rest 20 minutes before baking.

Preheat oven to 400F and bake for 13 minutes.

Remove from oven, but do not turn oven off.

Chocolate Pizza Recipe:

1 prebaked dessert pizza (above)

1/3 cup Nutella Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/4 cup white chocolate chips

1/4 cup milk chocolate chips

1 cup mini marshmallows or marshmallow crème

When pizza pie comes out of oven, spread Nutella over the crust.

Sprinkle with the chocolate chips.

P. Sprinkle with the mini marshmallows or drop spoonfuls of marshmallow crème on top.

Place back in oven for 4 to 5 minutes until chocolate chips have melted and marshmallows are lightly toasted.

Serve immediately.
