Ingredients:
For Pizza Dough:
2 Cups of All Purpose Flour (Maida)
½ Cup Curd (Dahi)
½ Teaspoon Baking Powder
Salt
Water
Oil
For Pizza Sauce:
Puree of 4 Tomatoes
1 Teaspoon Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
½ Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder (Dalchini Powder)
1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch)
1 Teaspoon Sugar
Salt
Oil
For Preparing Pizza:
Onion Pieces
Capsicum Pieces
Procedure:
1. In flour, add salt, baking powder and mix well. Add curd gradually and mix well.
2. Add water and knead the dough. Use oil to smoothen the dough.
3. Let the dough rest for 15-20 minutes.
4. For the sauce heat some oil and add carom seeds, cinnamon powder and tomato puree.
5. Stir well till the puree thickens and the tomatoes are cooked.
6. Now add red chilli powder, salt and sugar. Mix well.
7. Sauce is ready for the pizza.
8. Take a portion of the dough and roll it into a pizza base, Keep it little thicker than parathas.
9. Prick the base with a fork.
10. Grease a pan with oil and cook the pizza base for 2-3 minutes with closed lid.
11. Cook the other side similarly.
12. Now keeping the pricked side on top, apply the pizza sauce, add onions and capsicum pieces and cook the pizza for 2-3 minutes.
13. Now take the pizza in a serving plate, cut it into pieces and grate generous amount of cheese on it.
14. Amdavadi Jasuben No Pizza is ready to eat.
