Punjabi Sweet Lassi | Sweet Yogurt Drink | Refreshing Summer Cooler Recipe

Ingredients

: 2 cups fresh chilled yogurt

1 cup chilled milk / water

1/4 cup powdered sugar or more - as per taste

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

1/4 tsp rose water

2 - 3 tbsp chopped dry fruits (almonds,pistachios & cashews)

few saffron strands

few ice cubes (optional)

Method:

- Using a traditional buttermilk churner, bet the chilled thick yogurt until it becomes smooth.

- Add sugar and blend well until it dissolves well.

- Add the chilled milk to it and keep churning until they blend well.

- Add the cardamom powder and a few strands of saffron along with little rose water to it and mix well.

- Pour it in the serving glasses and garnish with some chopped nuts and very few strands of saffron.

- The thick and creamy 'Sweet Lassi' or 'Punjabi Lassi' is ready to be served
