Giant puff pastry fans: a sweet treat for a delicious snack time!

INGREDIENTS  

Dough

• 2 tbsp Sugar

• 250ml milk

• 8g dry yeast

• 40g Butter

• 40ml Vegetable oil

• 3 tbsp sugar

• 10g vanilla sugar

• Salt

• 450g flour  

Sprinkling

• 50g Butter

• 100g sugar

  METHOD

Mix sugar with warm milk and dry yeast. Let stand for 15 minutes.

Melt butter and add to the mixture.

Add oil, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and gradually flour. Mix well with your hands until you get a dough.

Let stand for an hour until doubled in size.

Divide the dough into several pieces.

Flatten each piece until you get a very thin dough.

Add melted butter and sprinkle sugar on each flattened piece.

Roll up, fold in half and place one end on top of another.

Cut in half, open and form a heart showing the rolled layers.

Place on a baking sheet and let stand for 30 minutes.

Bake for 25 minutes at 180ºC (356ºF)
