Ingredients
Curd – 2 cups
Milk – ½ cup milk
Apple – 1
Banana – 1
Pear - 1
Pomegranate seeds – 2 tbsp
Sugar – 2 tsp
Mint leaves – 8 to 10
Green cardamom – 2
Black salt – ¼ tsp
Directions Getting ready:
1. For making fruit raita, take curd in a bowl and whisk until it becomes smooth. Stone grind the green cardamom seeds to make powder. Peel the pear and apple then chop them down in small chunks. Peel the banana and keep it aside. Making:
2.Add milk to the whisked curd and mix thoroughly. Then add the pear, apple, sugar and black salt to the curd and mix everything really well. If you are making this raita for fast then skip the adding black salt.
3.To the curd, add crushed green cardamom and some fresh mint sprigs. Serving:
4.Garnish this mouth-drooling fruit raita with pomegranate and refrigerate the raita for 1 hour before serving.
You can serve this lip smacking fruit raita after your meals or anytime of the day.
Suggestions
If you are using fresh curd, then skip the use of milk.
But if you have kept the curd in a refrigerator for a day or two then add little milk to it.
