Dry Fruit Cake Recipe - How to make Dry Fruit Cake at home Ingredients: 1. 1 cup castor or powdered sugar 2. 1.5 cup maida or all purpose flour 3. lots of dry-fruits 4. 3 eggs 5. 200 gm butter 6. 2 tablespoon vanilla essence 7. 2 tablespoon baking powder Procedure: 1. in a bowl whip softened butter and sugar together. 2. whip them on low speed till the sugar dissolves and becomes creamy. 3. add vanilla essence and whip. 4. add eggs one at a time. 5. whip the egg in the batter till it gets incorporated. 6. add the remaining eggs in the batter one at a time and whip as earlier. 7. once the eggs are incorporated completely and the batter becomes fluffy` sieve the flour and baking powder into it. 8. fold the flour into the batter using cut and fold technique. 9. add remaining flour in a similar fashion. 10. pre-heat the oven at 180° celsius. 11. add half the dry fruits into the batter. 12. grease the cake tin and dust it with flour. 13. pour the batter into the tin and spread it evenly. 14. add the remaining dry fruits over the batter for garnishing. 15. tap cake tin. 16. bake it for 30-35 minutes on 180° celsius. 17. check by poking the cake with a toothpick if the cake is ready or not. 18. if the toothpick comes clean` then the cake is ready. 19. enjoy the yummy cake.
