How To Make Muthia At Home | Popular Gujarati Snack Recipe | Ruchi's Kitchen

Ingredients:

- Water

- 1 ½ cup of wheat flour

- 3 tbsp of gram flour

-1 tsp coriander & cumin seed powder

- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

- 2- 3 tsp sugar

- 1/2 tsp ginger & chilli paste

- 2 pinch soda bi carb

- 1 lemon juice

- 1 1/2 tbsp oil

- 1/2 cup coriander leaves

- 250 gms grated bottle gourd ( lauki )

- salt to taste

- 2 tbsp Oil

- 1 tbsp Mustard Seeds

- 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds

- Few Curry leaves

- 1 dry Red Chilli

Method:

- Boil a pot of water and over it place the greased sieve on the top and cover it with a lid

- In a bowl mix together wheat flour,gram flour, coriander & cumin seed powder, red chilli powder , turmeric powder,sugar, ginger & chilli paste, soda bi carb, lemon juice, oil, coriander leaves, grated bottle gourd ( lauki ) and salt

- Apply oil to your palm and make cylindrical roll of the dough and place it on the steamer and let it steam for 20 -25 minutes

- Let them cool down completely and them chop them into thin slices

- Heat some oil, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds , curry leaves, red chillies and add the muthia's and toss them up. Let them cook for 3-4 minutes Garnish with coriander leaves

- Muthia is ready to be served!
