Punjabi Fish Curry Nauneet Kaur

Serves: 5

Cooking Time: 25-30 minutes

Three Main Ingredients:

Fish,

Onions,

Tomatoes

Ingredients

4 tbsp oil-refined

600 grams fish, 1” square

½ tsp cumin seeds

1” ginger, chopped

6 flakes garlic, chopped

250 grams onion, big chopped

150 grams tomatoes,

2 tbsp tomato puree

1 tsp salt-medium

½ tsp degi mirch

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 green chilli-chopped

Garnish:

½ tsp garam masala

Method:

Heat oil in a non-stick fry pan.

Add cumin seeds, stir-fry.

Add ginger garlic fry till golden.

Add onions and fry till golden brown.

Add tomatoes, tomato pureé stir-fry.

Add salt, degi mirch, turmeric powder and cook for a minute.

Now place fish in a single layer. Sim the gas.

Cook covered for 10 mins.

Open and turn the fish.

Cover and continue cooking and sim till done.

Just before of the gas add green chillies to it.

Put in a dish and garnish with garam masala.

Serve Hot.
