Ingredients:
Eggs- 4 (boiled, shelled, cut in halves)
Onions - 2 medium, roughly cubed
Green chillies - 2
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
Cumin (Zeera) powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala powder- 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - 1 bunch ( finely chopped)
Milk - 200 ML
Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
Preparation:
- Boil the eggs & cut into halves
- Put the cubed onions & green chillies into a grinder & blend into a smooth paste - Fine chop a bunch of coriander leaves
Process :
- In a kadhai, add oil & once medium hot , add the onion-green chilli paste. Lower flame & cook for 2 mins
- Now add the ginger-garlic paste & mix well - Keep cooking in low flame , stirring often, for around 15 mins till paste changes colour
- Now switch off the flame & add the milk stirring continuously. Mix it well with the Masala - Switch on the flame & keep in low flame till oil separates
- Put in the cumin powder, pepper powder, garam masala powder & salt . Mix well & cook for a few mins
- Place the egg halves in the gravy, yolk side down to absorb the spices.
- Cover & cook for few mins
- After few mins turn the egg halves yolk side up.
- Add the finely chopped coriander leaves, mix well
- Cook covered for a few mins till oil separates - Serve, enjoy with rice or roti
