Ingredients :
1 Cup Green Peas
1 Cup Basmati Rice
2 tsp Cumin Seeds
Half tsp Black Cumin Seed
4 to 5 Clove
4 to 5 Pepper Corns
Half inch Cinemon Stick
1 Bay Leaf
Cashew Nuts as per choice
Fresh Coriander Leaves
One Lemon
Salt to Taste
4 tsp Sajuk Tup/ Clarified Butter
Method :
Wash, Rinse & Soak rice for 15 to 20 mins Take 2 glass of boiled water & add pinch of Salt in it
Add Green Peas in the water & soak for 15 mins
Heat Sajuk tup / Ghee or Butter in Pan Put all the whole Spices in ghee
Fry it nicely
Add Cashew nuts
Fry till golden brown
Then add Soaked Basmati Rice
Roast it well Add crushed Ginger & Garlic
Stir on low flame
Add Salt to taste
Finally add soaked Green Peas
Mix it well Add 2 cups of hot water& stir it well
Let it Cook on hig
After 10 mins check the status of peas & rice
Then add chopped Coriander leaves finally squeeze Lemon & mix it properly. Watana Bhat/ Green Peas pulav is ready to serve
