Winter Special Green Peas Recipes | Green Peas Soup & Green Peas Tikki | Hare Matar Ki Recipes

Ingredients:

For Green Pea Soup:

• 250 gms Green Peas

• 1 Onion

• 1 tbsp Garlic

• 2 tbsp Olive Oil

• 4 Basil Leaves

• 200 ml Vegetable Stock

• Salt To Taste

• White Pepper To Taste

• 1 tbsp Cream

For Green Peas Tikki:

• 1/2 cup Green Peas

• 1 cup Cottage Cheese

• 1 1/2 tbsp Ghee

• 1 1/2 tsp Ginger

• 1 tsp Green Chilli

• 1/2 tbsp Cumin Powder

• Spinach Paste

Method Green Peas Soup

1. Take a kadhai, pour in olive oil, garlic and Saute it for a while.

2. Add chopped onions and Saute it for a minute.

3. Add in a bowl full of green peas and Stir it well.

4. Put some salt as per taste, a jar of vegetable stock, place a lid and Simmer until the peas are properly cooked.

5. Add few basil leaves and Simmer for another minute. Take it off the gas and Blend until smooth.

6. Now again place it back on the flame, add white pepper and Mix it well.

7. Serve it on a plate and Garnish with cream and mint leaves.

8. Ready to Serve with Green Peas Salad and Tikki.

Green Peas Tikki

1. Firstly to make tahini dipping sauce, take chopped garlic, lemon juice, Let it rest for about 15-20 minutes and then strain the garlic.

2. Take a small bowl, add a cup of tahini paste, lemon juice and Mix it continuously.

3. Add salt to taste, parsley and Mix it well with a spoon. The paste is ready.

4. Now in a big bowl, add mashed green peas, spinach paste and Mix it well together.

5. Add around a cup of cottage cheese, some cumin powder, ginger, green chilli, salt to taste and Mix it well nicely.

6. Grease palms with some ghee and then start making tikkis out of the mixture made.

7. Take a pan, grease it with ghee, place the tikkis one by one, apply ghee to them and Cook these properly from both sides until golden brown.

8. Ready to Eat with Green Peas Salad.
