Recipe:
Ingredients
– 250 Grams Boiled Dried Green Peas
Puree of 2 Tomatoes
3 Chopped Onions
2 Teaspoon Crushed Green Chillies
3 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
2 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
1 Teaspoon Dal Shaak Masala
1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
Salt
Oil
Water
For Sev Usal Tari:
25-30 Garlic Cloves
4-5 Green Chillies
½ Inch Ginger Salt
2 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
Method –
1. Heat oil and add chopped onions and stir till they turn golden brown.
2. Add crushed green chillies, ginger garlic paste, tomato puree and mix well.
3. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dal shaak masala and dhana jeera powder.
4. Add Green Vatana and mix well with the spices.
5. Add salt and water as per requirement and cook for 3-5 minutes.
6. For the tari grind garlic, green chillies, ginger and salt.
7. Now for the tadka for tari, heat oil and add red chilli powder.
8. Add this tadka to the tari and our sev usal tari is ready.
9. Serve the Sev Usal in a bowl; add some chopped onions, spring onions, sev and sev usal tari.
10. Serve it with Pav and a slice of lemon.
