bitter gourd fry/ కాకరకాయ వేపుడు /how to make karela fry/bitter gourd fry for sugar patients

INGREDIENTS;

bitter gourd-500grms

chilley powder-2tbs

dry coconut powder-3tbs

salt-as per the taste

turmeric powder-1/2tbs

oil- for dep frying.

roasted cumin seeds powder-1/2tbs

curry leaves-few

popu-2tbs

sliced onions-1small

PREPARATION MRTHOD FOR BITTER GOURD FRY;

first,take the bitter ourds,wash & chopped it into round slices.

in a bowl,add bitter gourd slices & add turmeric powder & salt,mix it well.

squeeze well & keep aside for 15mins. after 15mins,bitter giurd slices are releases the juice.

now,drain off the water. then,heat the pan in a oil for deep frying.

once the oil is over medium hot,add bitter gourd slices & fry them to change the colour in golden bown.

repeat the process to the remaining slices. now,heat the another pan & add 2tbs of oil. add popu,curry leaves & sliced onions.

next add turmeric powder,fry for 2mins.

now,add fried bitter gourd slices & mix it well. add dry coconut powder,chilley powder & salt as per the taste.

add roasted cumin seeds powder & cook for 3mins on low flame.

after 3mins,fry is ready to serve. CRISPY & TASTY BITTER GOURD /KAKARAKAYA FRY IS READY.
