Ingredients:
250 Grams Diced Bottle Gourd (Dudhi)
3-4 Diced Potatoes
1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds (Rai)
¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
10-12 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
2-2.5 Teaspoon Green Chilli-Garlic (Hari Mirch-Adrak) Paste
½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
1.5-2 Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
1 Teaspoon Dal Shaak Masala
Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
Salt
Oil
Procedure:
1.Heat oil and add mustard seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and potatoes.
2.Stir the potatoes well.
3.Add bottle gourd and mix well. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
4.Add green chilli-garlic paste and stir well.
5.Add turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, red chilli powder, dal shaak masala and salt as per taste. Mix well.
6.Cook for 3-5 minutes on a low flame with closed lid.
7.Garnish with coriander leaves.
8.Dudhi Bateta Nu Shaak is ready.
