INGREDIENTS:
Bottle gourd 1 nos
Coriander leaves(chopped) 1 tsp
Red chilly flakes 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Onions(optional) 1 nos
Salt To taste
Wheat flour 1 cup
Chick pea flour 1 tbs
Oil 2-4 tbs
Yogurt 1 cup
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
METHOD:
1. Peel the bottle gourd and grate it and squeeze the water.
2. Take a bowl and add` 1 cup grated bottle gourd` coriander leaves` red chilly powder` turmeric powder` cumin powder` finely chopped onions` salt` wheat flour` chick pea flour` 1 tsp oil and mix thoroughly.
3. Add yogurt and mix thoroughly and make a stiff dough.
4. Apply oil and take small dumpling and make the thepla using rolling pin and dusting flour.
5. Heat the tawa and cook the thepla using oil on both sides.
6. Now the hot thepla are ready to serve directly or with a any pickle.
