Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 cups of chanadal / split chickpeas
4 tbsp of cooking oil
2 small bay leaves
1 inch cinnamon stick
1 tsp of cumin seeds
1tbsp of ginger&garlic paste
1 large onion` chopped
2 medium size tomatoes` chopped
400g of chopped bottle gourd / lauki
1 tsp of ground turmeric
1 tsp of ground coriander
3/4 tsp of ground chilli
1/3 tsp of crushed black pepper
1/2 tsp of garam masala
salt to taste
some chopped coriander leaves
