Ingredients
150 gms Ghee
600 gms grated Bottle Gourd
400 ml Milk
200 gms sugar
100 gms Khoya or additional
500 ml milk
6-7 nos Cardamom
Garnish
Gold leaf
Pistachio
Raisins
Cashews
Method
-Peel off the lauki's skin, take off the ends and cut into big pieces
-Grate the lauki but skip the seeds -Heat the pan on moderate heat and add ghee
- Add cashew nuts, raisins and pistachios and saute them for some time
- Once raisin start swelling turn off the flame and keep the dry fruits aside.
Add more ghee in the pan and add the grated lauki and keep stirring it
-Add milk and mix it properly
- Add khoya and mix it properly - Add sugar and mix well and let it cook for sometime
- Add freshly grounded cardamom powder and roasted dry fruits
