Recipe:
1/4 red onion
2 cloves garlic
1 cup almonds
1/2 cup hulled hemp seeds
2 Tbsp flax meal
2 Tbsp Tamari/Soy sauce
1 tsp. of each; sage, oregano, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder
2 tsp. nutritional yeast
Pulse ingredients together in a food processor (veggies first, then nuts and seeds), until a dough ball forms or it comes together.
Let mixture sit for 10 minutes before forming into patties.
Heat 1 tsp of oil over med heat, brown patties on both sides for 3-5 minutes each, let them rest, and enjoy on collard greens or lettuce boats with your favorite toppings.
