Ingredients:-
1 cup fresh Fenugreek leaves, boiled, drained, cooled and chopped roughly ( weighed after boiling.)
½ cup Green Peas, boiled
2 tbsp. Ghee
1-2 Bay leaves
1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
1 tbsp. Ginger, Garlic and Green Chilli crushed
1 cup boiled Onion paste
1 tbsp. Roasted Gram Flour
1 cup boiled Cashew nut Paste
2 cup Water
1 tbsp. Garam Masala Powder
1 tsp. Sugar
1 cup Fresh cream
Salt as required
Method:-
- Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, bay leaves, ginger-garli-green chilli crush and stir for 30-40 seconds
. - Add boiled onion paste, roasted gram flour and cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes. - Add boiled cashew nut paste and cook for a minute on medium flame.
- Then add water and mix using a whisk followed by garam masala powder, sugar, boiled green peas and simmer on low flame for 30-40 seconds.
- Now add the fenugreek and salt.
- Mix well and add fresh cream. Methi Matar Malai is ready to serve! HAPPY COOKING!!!
