Ingredients
1 cup soaked moong dal
4 pieces garlic cloves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
150 grams methi leaves
2 nos red chillies
1 tsp ghee
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 no onion finely chopped
1 no tomato finely chopped

Step 1: Add sufficient water to a pan and let it boil
Step 2: Add 1 cup of soaked moong dhal, 4 garlic cloves, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 2 red chillies, methi leaves to the boiling water and let it cook well.
Step 3: To a separate pan add enough oil and let the oil to heat well
Step 4: Add 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 finely chopped onion, and let the onion cook well for 30 to 60 seconds
Step 5: Once the onion is cooked add 1 finely chopped tomato and curry leaves and let the tomato cook well.
Step 6: Add this preparation to the dal and mix well.
Step 7: Add some salt to taste and mix well
Step 8: Turn off the flame when the methi leaves and dhal has cooked enough. And mash the leaves if needed.
