Ingredients Required for Methi Pulav

Coriander & Mint Leaves 1 small cup

Onion 1 small

Garlic 1

Ginger ½ inch

Grated coconut 3 table spoon

Green chilly 2

Fenugreek leaves (Methi leaves) 1 bowl

Cooking oil

Bullet rice 1 glass

Tomato 2

Onion 2

Green peas ½ cup

Red chilly powder 1 table spoon

Gram masala powder ¾ table spoon

Turmeric powder ¼ table spoon

Cloves 5-6

Salt For taste

Cinnamon 3 pieces

small Cardamom 2

Procedure

Add grated coconut, ginger, garlic, onion, coriander, mint leaves & green chilly to mixer jar now grind it in to a fine paste Now heat a cooker & add 3 -4 table spoon of cooking oil. Once oil is heated add cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, onion now fry it for 2 minutes then add Fenugreek leaves (Methi leaves) Fry it well so that sour taste will be avoided. Once it is fried add green peas fry well now add tomato. Add salt for taste, turmeric, garam masala & red chilli powder & mix well Reduce the flame to minimum. Now add grinded paste & cook it well now add ½ table spoon of coriander powder & mix well . cook it for 2 minutes . now add 1 ¾ th glass of water & add soaked rice mix well and cook the rice for almost 75% . now the close the lid & cook it untill 1 whistle Open the lid once cooker is cool
