Sheer Khurma Recipe
Full fat Milk- 1 & 1/2 L
Sago Seeds (Subadana)- 3 Tbsp
Ghee- 2 Tbsp
Cardamom- 8 to 10
Zaffran threads (Saffron) to taste
Cinnamom Sticks- 1 to 3
Vermicelli- 1 cup
Brown sugar- 4 Tbsp
Preparation:
Soak the sago seeds for 15 to 30 minutes in a cup with water. In a pan add ghee, cardamom and cinnamom sticks. Then add milk and zaffran threads and cook for 20 minutes. Add sago seeds, vermicelli and cook for more 15 minutes.Then add brown sugar and mix it well. Finaly add finely chopped almonds and pistachios and raisins (optional). Serve and drink it hot !!! Enjoy !!!
