RajmaPulao | Red Beans Pulao | Kidney Beans Pulav | rajma chawal recipe | Pulav Recipe One Pot Meal

Ingredients-

2 tbsp refined oil

1 onions, chopped

1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1/4 tsp garam masala

Salt- to taste

1cup cooked rajma (kidney beans)

2 cups rice

2.5 cups water

2-3 mint leaves

1 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped

1/4 tsp Shahjeera

5 Cloves

3 Cardamoms

1'' Cinnamon

1/4 tsp pepper

Method

1. Pressure cook red beans and keep them separately in a bowl.

2. Soak the Basmati rice for 15 minutes.

3. Pour about 1 tsp ghee and 1 tbsp of oil in a pressure cooker.

4. Add Shahjeera, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, Pepper, onions and green chilies to it.

5. Add ginger-garlic paste only after the onion becomes golden brown in color.

6. Now add salt, chili powder, coriander powder. Then add cooked beans

7. Add the chopped mint leaves and coriander leaves. Add the soaked rice and required amount of water (For 2 cups of rice, add 2.5 cups of water)

8. Pressure cook the above ingredients for about 1-2 whistle. Your red bean/ Rajma pulav is ready to serve.
