No Onion No Garlic

Methi Matar Malai Recipe -

Ingredients for paste -

125 gram Lauki peeled and chopped (approx 1 1/2 cups)

3-4 tblsps Cabbage stem

2 1/2 tblsps Kaju pieces (20-25 pieces approx.)

2 1/2 tblsps Magajtari Seeds

1/2 cup water

3 Green chillies

1/2 inch Ginger piece (or 1 tsp Sooth Powder)

Ingredients for gravy -

1 cup boiled mutter (add mutter in boiling water with 1 pinch cooking soda and 1 tsp sugar and boil it gets soft and strain all the water and put them in chilled water)

1 cup Fresh Methi Leaves (Blanched in boiling water for 2 minutes and strained and then added to ice water, then strain again and chop the leaves finely)

2 tblsps Ghee

Paste prepared above

1 cup water

1/2 cup hot milk

2 tblsps Kasuri Meth

i 2 tsps Salt (or as per taste)

1 tsp Punjabi Garam Masala Powder 

50 gram grated Paneer

1 1/2 tsps Sugar

2 tblsps Malai

2 tblsps Mava (optional)
