Ingredients

INGREDIENTS FOR SAMBAR MASALA

[  ]2 tbs chana dal

[  ] 2 tbs urad dal

[  ] 1.5 tbs cumin seeds

[  ] 1/4 tbs fenugreek seeds

[  ] 3 tbs coriander seeds

[  ] 1/2 cup Fresh coconut grated

[  ] 8 to 10 dry red chillies

[  ] Water

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION 

[  ]2 cups toor dal

( pressure cook with 4 cups water  )

[  ] 4 to 5 tbs oil

[  ] 1 tbs mustard seeds

[  ] 1 tbs cumin seeds

[  ] Pinch of hing

[  ] Curry leaves

[  ] 2 onions cut into lengthwise

[  ] 2 tbs chilly powder

[  ]Salt

[  ]1/2 tbs turmeric 

[  ] 1 potato peeled & cut into small cubes

[  ] 1 carrot cut into small cubes

[  ] 1 brinjal cut lengthwise

[  ] 2 drum sticks boiled

[  ] 2 tomatos puree

[  ]3 to 4 tbs Tamrind juice ( soaked in hot water)

[  ] 4 cups Water

[  ]Coriander leaves

INGREDIENTS FOR TADKA

[  ]2 tbs oil 

[  ]3 dry red chillies
