Ingredients:
3 tablespoon oil
1/2 tablespoon mustard seed(Rai)
1/2 tablespoon Urad dal
8-10 curry leaves
1 dried red chili
1/4 tablespoon turmeric powder
1/4 tablespoon hing(Asafoetida)
1/2 tablespoon Sambar Masala( Any brand)
1/2 tablespoon salt (to taste)
1.5 cup water
1 sliced onion medium size
2 sliced tomatoes
5-6 slice of brinjal -eggplant(optional)
1 tablespoon gram flour slurry
Method:
- heat oil in a thick bottom pan or kadai. add mustard seed, let it splutter, now add urad dal. add red chili & curry leaves, hing Mix well add vegetables mix well & add 2-3 tablespoon water, to let the veggis cook. now add turmeric powder, sambar masala powder, & salt add 1.5 cup water, bring it to boil. when water starts boiling then only add gram flour slurry. let it boil for 3-4 mins .
