Shami Kabab Recipe - How To Make Veg Shammi Kebab - Veg Starter Recipe - Ruchi

Ingredients:

2 Kashmiri Red Chillies

1 tbsp Coriander seeds

3-4 Cardamoms

4 Cloves

1 Cinnamon stick

1 tsp Cumin seeds

1/4 tsp Turmeric powder

1 tbsp Oil

1 Onion, chopped

3 Green chillies, chopped

1 tsp Ginger paste

1/2 cup Gram Dal, soaked

1/2 Soya granules, boiled

1 Potato, boiled& mashed

3 tbsp Mint leaves, chopped

3 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped

2 tbsp Gram flour

Salt

Oil for frying

Method of preparation:

Heat a pan, add red chilli, coriander seeds, cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon stick, cumin seeds and dry roast them till they change colour.

Transfer it to a mixture, jar add turmeric powder and grind them into a fine powder.

Heat oil in a pan, add onion, garlic paste, chillies, gram dal, soya and saute till all the water dries out.

Transfer it to a mixer jar and grind it into a fine paste. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, add potato, chilli mixture, mint leaves, coriander leaves, gram flour, salt and mix well.

Take a portion of the mixture and kebabs of it.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the kebabs in it. Our delicious Shammi Kebabs are ready to plate.
