Ingredients for fruit Falooda
Sabja (Basil) seeds - 2 tsp
Arrowroot - 1 tsp
Mango pulp - 2 to 3 tsp
Strawberry pulp - 2 to 3 tsp
Milk - ½ cup
Rose syrup - ½ cup
Mango Kulfi
pieces (finely chopped)
Strawberry Kulfi
Strawberry pieces
Dry fruits - for
How to make fruit Falooda
- Take 2 teaspoon of basil seeds, soak it in a ½ cup of water for 15 to 20 minutes.
For the Sev
1- Take a ½ cup of arrowroot in a bowl, add some water to it and stir until it's lumps dissolves.
2- After dissolving the lumps, add a ½ cup of water to it and stir well.
3- Preheat a pan, add the mixture in it and cook while continuously stirring it on low flame.
4- Cook until it reaches to its thicker consistency and become transparent.
5- After cooking it, take a Sev maker and assemble the finer sized hole plate on it.
6- Fill the cooked mixture in the machine and close its lid.
7- Take a bowl filled with chilled water and some ice cubes.
8- Remove the ice cube from it and make the Sev in water using machine.
9- Keep it aside to set for a while.
For the pink color Sev
1- Take a beetroot, ground it and filter its juice.
2- Take a ½ cup of arrowroot, add the beetroot extracted water to it.
3- Stir to mix it well and cook it likewise.
4- After cooking it, fill it in the Sev maker and make the Sev using it in the chilled water.
5- After making the Sev, keep it aside to set.
Serving
For Mango Falooda
1- Take a glass and add 2 to 3 teaspoons of mango pulp to it followed by 2 teaspoons of basil seeds too
2- Add some cold milk, Falooda Sev and 2 to 3 teaspoons of rose syrup to it.
3- Add some pieces of Mango Kulfi, finely chopped mango and spread some rose syrup to it.
4- Garnish with finely chopped dry fruits and the Mango Falooda is ready to be served.
For strawberry Falooda
1- Take a glass, add 2 to 3 teaspoons of strawberry paste in it.
2- Add 2 to 3 teaspoons of soaked basil seeds, 2 to 3 tablespoons of cold milk followed by pink Falooda.
3- Add 2 to 3 teaspoons of rose syrup, some pieces of strawberry Kulfi to it.
4- Garnish with some finely chopped dry fruits and some rose syrup.
5- The strawberrry Falooda is ready to be served.
For regular Falooda
1- Take a glass, add some cold milk to it.
2- Add 2 to 3 teaspoons of basil seeds, some Falooda Sev, 2 to 3 teaspoons of rose syrup, some pieces of Kulfi and garnish with dry fruits.
3- The regular Falooda is ready to be served.
