Ingredients:-
For Spinach Paste:-
½ bunch of Spinach
2 Green Chillies
1 piece Ginger
1 clove of Garlic
1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
¾ cup Curd
1 cup Semolina
For tempering:-
1 tsp. Ghee
1 tsp. Mustard Seeds
1 tbsp. Split Black Gram
Lentils
Cashews, finely chopped
¼ tsp. Soda bicarbonate
3-4 drops of Lemon Juice
Method:-
1. Boil and grind all the spinach paste ingredients together by adding curd.
2. Add the remaining curd and mix well.
3. Now add semolina, water and mix using a whisk.
4. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
5. Make a tempering from the tempering ingredients as shown in the video and pour it over the batter and mix well.
6. Then add soda bicarbonate and lemon juice.
7. Make idlis in pressure cookeer or Idli steamer and serve.
