Ingredients:
2 tbsp oil
2 - 3 cloves
small piece of cinnamon stick
2 green cardamom
1/2 tsp crushed coriander seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 cup onion puree (fried onion)
1 tbsp crushed ginger garlic
salt to taste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
water (as desired)
1 cup raw tomato puree
1/4 cup fresh cream
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp dried fenugreek leaves
8 - 10 ready paneer tikka pieces
fresh coriander leaves
Method:
- Heat oil in a wok. - Add the cloves, cinnamon stick, cardamom and the crushed coriander seeds and stir-fry for a few seconds.
- Add the cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, onion puree and keep stirring for a while.
- Add salt, red chilli powder and coriander powder and mix the ingredients well. Add little water if necessary.
- Once the water evaporates, add the tomato puree, mix well and let it cook on a high flame for around 2 minutes. Then cover it with a lid and cook for about 5 - 8 minutes
. - Once done, add garam masala and fenugreek leaves and mix well. Then add the fresh cream and mix well.
- Add the paneer tikka pieces and mix well to completely coat it with the gravy. Let it cook with the gravy for about 1 - 2 minutes.
- Lastly, add some fresh coriander leaves and toss well.
- The delicious, creamy paneer tikka masala is ready to be served.
