Dal Soup For Weight Loss - Healthy Lentil Soup Recipe - Gluten Free & Vegan Dinner | Skinny Recipes

Ingredients:

3 tbsp tur dal

4 shallots

1/4 inch ginger

2 green chilies

3/4 of lauki (bottle gourd)

1 tomato

1/4 tsp black peppercorns

1 tsp virgin coconut oil

1/2 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 cup water

pink himalayan salt as needed

1 cup chopped green amaranth or spinach or any green leafy vegetable of your choice

1 tbsp coriander leaves

1 tbsp organic coconut vinegar or apple cider vinegar or juice of half a lime. (using organic vinegar will help in getting some healthy gut friendly bacteria)

extra green chilies to garnish.

(note)

to make it more easier, I used the stick blender; however you can blend in your mixie or blender jar.
